Fiorentina Flowers relies on the most highly qualified personnel in the industry. We do not only grow and export roses, but also build our own greenhouses, manage our watering systems, and even put together our plants. Thus, we require highly trained people who are conscious of their involvement in the entire production process.
Our personnel is compensated with every benefit required by law, yet we believe this is not enough. Additionally, Fiorentina offers a permanent medical facility, with a full time doctor and fully-stocked on-site pharmacy. These medical services are free of charge and are inclusive of all of our employees’ family members in any degree of kinship.
Fiorentina Flowers is also one of the only farms of its kind to provide hearty and balanced meals free of charge to its entire staff.
Our field workers are provided with all the necessary safety devices and apparel to guarantee their physical integrity and good health. Certain employees who are exposed to higher risk tasks are also compensated with a private health insurance policy, which enables them to receive medical attention and compensation on top of required State-offered Social Security policies.
We regularly carry out vaccination programs, provide our employees with dental services, and offer compensation for any necessary laboratory services.
Our fumigation staff is equipped with top of the line protection gear. These positions are rotated many times a year through a rigorous program to avoid their exposure to unnecessary risks.
Our medical department frequently organizes conferences and seminars on preventive medicine, fertility, family planning, HIV infection, alcohol and narcotic consumption, and first aid.
Personnel is thoroughly informed and competent in the fight against contraband and drug trafficking. Fiorentina Flowers is an active member of BASC, a country-wide corporate effort against such actions in conjunction with the American DEA.
As a rule, Fiorentina Flowers does not hire underage workers. However, we do offer occasional summer opportunities for teens with written parental consent. These positions are low-risk, and are designed to help our youth advance gain necessary work experience.
